Wide Leg Pants

The wide leg pant is a strong trend with some staying power. Now is a good time to give a wide legged pant or trouser a try. These pants are great at camouflaging any flaws you might want to hide. If you want a comfortable and fashionable look, this is a great style to check out. If you aren’t sure where to start, here are some things to get you started.

If you are on the taller side, stick to a pant that is wide all over. For shorter ladies, don’t look at these pants since they will just engulf you. Tall ladies can go for a funky or unusual print on the trousers, but if you are shorter, try solids or a very tiny print or design.

Try a high-waisted style if you need to disguise any thickness in the middle of your body. This style tends to give the look of an hourglass shape. Add a little flare to the pants, and you will look great!

To add some length to your legs, definitely go with a flared pair of pants. Add some cute heels to complete the look. If you really want to add length, try a pattern with a vertical stripe.

If you have thinner legs, go with a small flare on the bottom and a tighter fit towards your hips and waist. For larger thighs, find a more standard fit, but look for a wider flare on the bottom.

Wide legged trousers will make your hips look more narrow if you have a more pear shaped body. Stay away from any side pockets- you don’t want to add any bulkiness in this area. Pants with a flat front will make you look your best.

Choose a length that will cover your shoes or boots. Wide legged pants look great with a belt to the narrowest part of your upper body. A slim-fitting blouse or blazer looks terrific with these types of trousers.
