Simple Beauty Mistakes-Fixed!

We all make those beauty blunders from time to time, and that can be frustrating. Don’t let a bad hair day ruin your whole day! Here are some common beauty mistakes and tips for a quick fix.

Chipped Nail Polish

You have a great manicure and the perfect nail color, but then you get a chip! Don’t worry that you have to redo all of it. Keep a bottle of glitter nail polish on hand just for these little nail emergencies. You only need to brush the glitter polish over the one nail to disguise the chip. This can be your accent nail. Go ahead and use the glitter polish on the same nail on the other hand so you look like you meant to do that.

Overdone Foundation

Maybe you were half-asleep this morning, but you look in the mirror and see way too much foundation. Do you have to wash everything off and start over? Of course not! Take a tissue and gently blot your face to remove excess foundation. This method should not ruin your makeup. Begin with your nose, and work your way outwards to your chin and forehead. You will look great in no time.

Lipstick on Your Teeth

Who hasn’t gotten a smudge of lipstick on their teeth at one time or another? Remove the smudge and use a tissue to blot your lips. Make sure your mouth is closed when you reapply your lip color. For extra insurance, put your forefinger in your mouth and run over your teeth to pick up any extra lipstick that may be on the inside of your mouth.

Undone Updo

Bobby pins are you best friends, especially when you are wearing an Updo. Even one loose pin can cause your hair to come tumbling down. Make sure you crisscross your bobby pins to keep your do in place. The ripple side should be facing down, too.
