Best Eyebrow Shape for Your Face

Just like all haircuts, eyebrow shapes aren’t really a one-size-fits-all sort of thing. Getting the perfect eyebrows depend directly on the shape of your face. Great arches enhance your eyes to make you look younger. You can also get away with wearing less makeup. Bonus!

So now on to the tough part! How do you get the right eyebrow shape? To start, your very unique face shape plays a huge role in getting the best eyebrow shape for you. Here is a complete guide of the best brows for a range of different face shapes so that you too can find your own amazing arches.

Square

A square jaw tends to accent the angle of your face. Softly rounded brows are definitely the way to go with a square face. Always try to make sure your eyebrows are not too angular, and try not to make brows appear too round. It’s not a good look to over pluck or wax creating rainbow-shaped brows.

Round

Do you have a face that tends to be on the rounder side? You are going to want to make sure your eyebrows are more at an angle. Because of the lack of definition that a rounder face has, the angled brow can bring out and define facial bone structure. For a round face, a higher arch can be very flattering.

Long

A long face can be characterized by features that are vertically stretched. Because of this, it is super important to be sure to extend the tails of your eyebrows horizontally. This will give your face some needed balance.

Heart

We all know big bold brows are in style, but a heart shaped face should steer away from this trend. You tend to have the petite jaw line so this puts emphasis on the upper portion of your face. It’s a great idea to keep brows well-manicured and of course exceptionally groomed.

Oval

Having an oval face is classic and having balanced brows is ideal.

Keep in mind, whatever the shape of your face, a thin brow is never in! The idea is to create a shape that is controlled and never too bushy.
