Forget the light and airy brow. Fuller brows are not only in fashion, but also can look great on anyone. Fuller brows make you look younger and actually soften your look. Don’t be afraid to try it. Here are some tips for having thick, full brows.
Full brows do not mean an unsculpted, busy mess. You should actually start with letting a professional shape your brows. This will give you the best shape and a good foundation for your brows to look their best.
One tool you should have on hand is spoolie. A spoolie is a great eyebrow tool that helps with shaping. A spoolie looks like a mascara brush, but has soft bristles with a tapered head for easy use. You will want to clean your spoolie regularly by rinsing off in warm water (or you can use a brush cleaner), and letting it dry completely before the next use.
Once you have the brows shaped, brush upwards first, then use a highlighter. Apply the highlighter under the brow line from the inner eye across to the outside. Your brows will be enhanced and this gives you a guide before you do any filling in.
If you have any thin spots, find a brow powder that is just one shade lighter than your hair color. You can also use a pencil a shade lighter. Fill in the spots with a light touch, and brush off any areas that may have too much. You want a look that blends in naturally.
Once you have your brows looking good, you can also use a brow gel if you wish. A brow gel is like hairspray for your eyebrows and will keep hairs in place. Usually these gels come in clear, but you can also get tinted gel. Tinted gels will hide any grays and also give you an even fuller look if you need a little boost.
