Eyeglasses today come in so many shapes and colors it is easy to find something really flattering and fashionable. You have great glasses, so why not rev up your makeup to match? You can mix and match styles and trends and always look your best. Here are some terrific makeup tips to help your eyes look great when you are wearing your glasses.
Play up your eyelashes behind those glasses. Start with an eye shadow that is kind of neutral (think blush color.) For eyeliner, a dark black color will make your eyes pop. Start thinner near the inner eye and go thicker as you draw out the line towards your outer eye. You can add liner just to the bottom corner to add a little more drama to the look.
When you wear glasses you have to try the classic, but chic, cat eye look. Your eye shadow should be a bright color that will make your eyes the star of the show. Use a similar shade for your eyeliner and people will definitely be noticing your eyes behind the specs!
Keep your eyebrows neatly shaped, since brows will be noticed behind the glasses. If you need to fill in, use just a little brow liner, but go for a natural look. For mascara, don’t use a lengthening one, but go for some volume.
Want to go a little bolder? Try to find a hue of purple that works with your skin tone. Purple is a great color that stands out. You can also go for a shadow with just a little shimmer in it. Try the purple along the lower lash line, too, for some great definition to your eyes.
