We never think about how hard our feet are working almost every day. We walk all over and wear tight shoes or high heels. Your feet need some care and pampering, too. Take some time to treat your feet, and you will feel the difference!
Walking barefoot shouldn’t end when we are children. Taking a break from shoes is very good for your tootsies. Stick your toes in the grass and enjoy it. When you come back home, you can clean your feet and soak them in some warm water.
Make sure you don’t wear the same pair of shoes every day. Heels are hard on your feet, but if you love to wear them, just bring a backup pair of flats with you. Mix up the shoes you wear, too.
One great home foot soak recipe is warm water with ½ cup of Epsom salts. Add some lavender or other essential oil for a relaxing scent.
Did you know you can get a foot massage or session of reflexology at most places you get a regular massage? Ask if you can get a foot massage along with your regular pedicure. Pedicures are a terrific treat to get our feet looking and feeling good.
For softer feet without much effort just use a great food moisturizing lotion at night. Do wear socks to bed that night so the moisture soaks in. Your feet will feel so good in the morning.
Don’t forget to dress up your nice soft feet with some colorful nail polish. Even if you aren’t showing off your toes yet, it is a great feeling to know your toes look pretty. You can go with classic colors like pink and red, or find a bold color you like, like orange or even yellow.
