New Nail Colors for Spring
This spring, nail colors have been twisted around and transformed into something new. Taking the same old color and making it pop are what spring is all about. Here are some hot new takes on color for your nails.
Pink is usually romantic, but the new pink is HOT, HOT, HOT! Forget the demure pinks of the past. The only exception is a toned down blush color of pink for this season. Talk about two extremes!
A cross between the romantic red and demure pink is a pretty Boysenberry color. Pure, bright red is a staple, and this season is no exception. Red is always a good choice for flirty fun.
The romance of the sea is back with pretty seafoam greens. Green is an appealing color, and these new shades are wonderful.
Yellow is usually bright and cheerful, but it is turned around this year. Mustard yellow is in vogue. There is almost a golden hue to this shade of yellow, but it not for the meek and mild.
Blues are always versatile, but this spring think bright, metallic Navy Blue. Teal blue is also popular this spring and for a real pop, try the new Cobalt blue.
Orange makes an appearance in a more subdued, almost pastel shade.
Keeping with a nude and neutral theme as well, lovely lilac is a perfect choice. Purples generally give off a relaxed and calm vibe, and this color fits right into that theme. Sheer greys and whites also are a different approach to the nude shades, and there is even a camel color this year.
In metallic, you will see bronze shades in a matte finish. There are also new metallic foils if you want an artistic touch to your nails.
