This Fall and Winter have some great new eyewear fashions. Why not change your eyewear look with the season, along with your wardrobe? Take a look at some of these fashion trends in eyeglasses.
Modern Retro is a strong look right now. There are vintage details with a modern flair. Think cat-eye shapes, gold and jewelry accents, and glasses that are a little chunky.
The cat-eye look is taking over for sunglasses, as well. Instead of fine and delicate lines, these sunglasses are bigger and bulkier. These make a definite statement and look good on almost anyone. The cat-eye shape makes the face look slimmer, so that could be one reason they are always popular.
Frames are taking a crazy and colorful turn right now. Bold, primary colors are en vogue and really stand out. The rims are very thick, also. Again, big and oversized is the eyewear trend at the moment. Oversized frames are coming in almost any shape, which is great since you can choose what looks best on you. Red is a very popular color in frames at this time.
One trend that is sticking around is angular shaped glasses. Think school teacher or professor. Do glasses really make you look smarter? These trends seem to think so, and people are falling in love with this look.
Can you believe aviator style eyewear is back? These are showing up in classic styles, but also in more geometric shapes, too. You will find these styles in both thin and thick rims.
One thing I haven’t seen in a while is round frames. These have returned to the scene in a big way. Most are oversized, but you will also see the John Lennon inspired thin wired frames.
Looking ahead to spring, we change from Red to more of a Rose color. Pale and soft hues start to take over in fashion and eyewear. There are also blues, taupes and dusty gray colors.
