Looking for something new and different in nail color? How about mixing up more than 1 color? You may be surprised at how good some of these color combinations actually look.
You always want to have a white polish in your nail color wardrobe. White is a staple that can be mixed in with other colors. A taupe or neutral shade is also good to always have on hand.
Red, White and Blue
Pick a sparkly blue for the majority of your nails. Go with a lighter blue and pair it with a bold red. Use the red as an accent on one nail of each hand. The red will really pop.
Mauve and Pink
This combo is not too surprising, but go with a sparkling or glittery mauve. Pair it with a really light pink. You can really use either color as an accent, or alternate nails with each color.
Berry Gold
A deep berry color is always classy and interesting. Amp it up by using a gold glitter polish on just the tips. This is a great look. You can also use the gold just on an accent nail is you want something quick and easy.
Minty Orange
Pair a minty green with a really deep and bold orange. You can mix them in a chevron style, or just use one for an accent color. If you are feeling bold, use the orange as the main color. A little mellow? Use the green for your main nail color.
Neon and Nude
Pair a nude or neutral color with a splash of bright neon. This is a fun look for a party. A bright pink or yellow looks great, but choose your favorite neon for this bright color pairing.
The Blues
Pair a dark navy with a deep sky blue for a great nighttime look. The colors are just a shade different enough to give you a subtle but lovely style. You could pair similar blues in various shades for a daytime look as well.
