Men’s Fashion Fall 2016
Know that you are well dressed this fall, what about the men in your life? Here are some new fall trends on the men’s runway this season.
We saw plaid on women’s outerwear this year, and it has carried right over into men’s outerwear also. There are long coats and short jackets, all sporting plaid fabrics.
Bomber jackets are back, but not like you are used to. There are bombers made from luxury fabrics and many with high end embellishments. Details are the key this fall.
While fall colors abound, like grey, navy and dark green, one color that stands out is copper. You will see coppery shades in coats, shirts and even trousers.
Layering shirts seems to making a statement this fall. Think long sleeved shirts topped off with a colorful knit polo. There is no end to the layering options this season.
Camel color was popular for the ladies and now is coming up in men’s- especially the trendy duffle coat. There are lots of jackets in the camel hues and in other clothing as well.
Big scarves are out and neckerchiefs are in. Keep your neck warm in style with options from cotton to silk. Patterns and color mixes are the trend, as well as old-fashioned bandanas.
Silk and shiny fabrics seem to be the big thing this fall. Silk shirts were everywhere on the runways and even showed up in outerwear. Shiny leather pants were also popular, but not everyone can pull that look off!
An interesting look this year is clunky and chunky shoes for men. There are thick soles stacked up high. Hiking boots were seen with casual and dressy clothes for an unusual pairing. Details on shoes stand out this fall, such as big buckles and even types of fringe.
Womenswear went for turtlenecks, but the men’s look is a looser funnel neck. Have your guy pair this with a slouchy jacket, and he is ready for fall.
