Hair Styles with Braids
Hair styles using braids are always popular and stylish. It doesn’t matter if you have thin, thick, short or long hair. There are braided styles for any type and length of hair, including curly or wavy hair. Go chic or casual, the choice is up to you.
One timeless, but laid-back looks is a Pigtail braid. This style looks good on most ladies. You can have loose braids with the pigtail style, or braid the hair very tight and close to your scalp. Weaving some colored ribbons can be a fun and vibrant look. Just pick your favorite color and enjoy.
A basket braid is really pretty. This braid is made by incorporating two braids into one thicker braid. As the name implies, this braid looks like a woven basket and people will be amazed since it looks very complicated.
For longer hair that is straight or curly, a waterfall braid works well. Your hair loosely falls down with the actual braid mainly at the top of your head. The waterfall braid is very feminine and quite romantic. You can also make a waterfall braid more edgy by braiding in a zigzag pattern.
You will see many different kinds of crown braids when you look at braided hairstyles. These braids do really look like a crown around your head. You can wrap them just across the front of your head, or around your whole head. Another fun way to mix it up is to have it braided in an asymmetrical pattern, falling down on one side of your face. To make a crown braid even more elegant, try mini braids. The mini braids keep your hair out of your eyes and face.
Another great look with long hair is a fishtail braid. Fishtail braids are loosely woven together. The ends of the hair are pulled out of the braid, left loose, which really highlights the fishtail style of the braid. This is a braided style that will get you some attention!
Try these at home, or let your stylist make you look great with a new braided style.
