Pimples can come out quickly and ruin your plans. Who wouldn’t want a way to deal with them at home? Here are some DIY tips for stopping pimples in their tracks.
Did you know honey is a great disinfectant and can help clear up pimples? Honey can help get rid of the nasty oils that cause a breakout. Start with a natural honey. Apply the honey to your pimples with a clean cotton swab. Just dab the honey on the pimple and let sit for thirty minutes. You can then rinse off with warm water. For an overnight treatment, just mix some cinnamon powder with honey and apply to the skin. You can then just rinse off in the morning.
Another natural germicide are lemons. Lemon juice kills germs and will get rid of oils in the skin. Lemons are acidic so be careful if you have sensitive skin. This is also a good overnight treatment. Just apply the juice with a cotton swab. You can then just wash your face normally in the morning.
Tea Tree oil is a great treatment, but avoid if your skin is sensitive. Not only is tea tree oil antibacterial, but it will also help reduce the redness and irritation that pimples can cause.Use a cotton ball and dip it into some of the oil. Just gently dab the pimples with the cotton ball. After 15 to 20 minutes just flush your face with water.
Now back to the kitchen for a baking soda treatment. Take one teaspoon of baking soda and make a thicker paste by mixing with water or lemon juice. Wash your face first and leave it just slightly damp. Apply the paste to your pimples and let stay on for about two minutes. Wash off with warm water. You can apply this treatment twice a day for the best results.
