Curly Hair Styles
There are many ways to style curly hair, even though it may seem challenging at times. You can definitely find some great styles for your curls, whether you want your hair short, medium, or long.
Curly hair looks the best the less you process or touch it, so you can go with a natural look and look fabulous. After you wash your hair, apply a light conditioner, too. Use a wide tooth comb to run the conditioner through your hair. Don’t touch your curls once your hair is dry, since it may get more frizzy. We want luscious curls, not frizz!
Some curly haired ladies like to use a hair straightener, which can look sleek and sophisticated. Save the straightener for when you have lots of time, since it does take a while to achieve the right look. To change up the style a bit and make your hair look full, leave some of your ends curly instead of straightening all your hair.
Short on time? Another lovely style is to have your hair pulled half-up(leaving half down.) Clip the top half of your hair and leave other curls hanging down around your face. This is a romantic look that shows off your face, too.
A centered ponytail is another quick fix, and looks sleek and polished.. This is great for a hot summer day. Make sure to center the ponytail near the top of your head. For a little more poof and volume, just pull some stands out in the front. A few loose layers left around your face will also look very pretty.
A side part looks great when you keep your curls short. It gives your hair a different shape and will look more different than you would think. This is a good for a quick change. When it is warm, try small pin curls wound tightly and close to your scalp. This is a cute and cool look.
If you need some volume, use a body-boosting product made specifically for curly hair. Use a rat-tail comb when your hair is dry, and comb through your whole head. This will add some boost and lift up the curls. If you want a spiral look, just use a thin curling iron.
Be proud of your curly locks and try a new look today!
